Logistics Account Manager

Pembroke-based freight forwarder looking for a Logistics Account Manager to join our team!

LogiWorld is a rapidly growing freight forwarding and logistics company. The operations team is looking for a driven and energetic Account Manager. This is a full-time, salaried, office staff position in Pembroke, MA.

Desired Skills and Interests:

• Minimum 3 years working experience with LTL/FTL/domestic transportation logistics.
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with tasks changing each day.
• Ability to manage time and effectively, prioritization is key.
• Takes critiques and suggestions well.
• Open to improving and building a variety of different skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Compare rates from carriers.
• Timely preparation of quotes for customers.
• Detailed data entry into various software platforms and operating systems.
• Regular phone calls with carriers, shippers, and receivers.
• Problem solving, including resolving freight issues, assessing the best routing options, triaging phone calls and email requests.
• Maintaining client satisfaction through all interactions.

Requirements:

• Previous LTL and FTL experience required (3 years)
• Customer service experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Motivated to meet operations goals daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Great communication skills with clients, staff, and carriers.
• Ability to manage time effectively.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
